InspirationThis page was designed to inform our audiences on what was the inspiration of why this Web site was created. We felt this was a good way to encourage our subscribers and listening audiences to take advantage of what is offered by the Reporting-Ethics media system. This way they would have the opportunity of knowing what to look out for and if they are already mixed up in one of the many different "trust" schemes, and what to do if they wanted to clear their names. We at Reporting-Ethics strongly emphasize the importance of keeping up with what the IRS demands. In our Web site and radio program, The KTAX Radio Show we will go into further detail on how this can have a bad impact on an individual's personal and professional lives. All of which are very much avoidable. WHAT REALLY INSPIRED THIS SITEBack in the late nineties, I can remember sitting in a restaurant talking to some US Marshals and FBI deputies. There they were using this opportunity to tell me some "war stories" or aspects of their jobs. Ones in which often involved chasing down federal fugitives. Some of these citizens and/or fugitives often did not even know that they had committed any federal crimes. This is in large part thanks to how these have been written and enforced. They had a job to do and bring these individuals to justice. But it was not their job to care about what effect this would have on their personal and/or professional lives. All that they knew and/or cared about was that they needed to be stopped and be brought to justice. They had a long list of job security to prevent them from getting emotionally involved in any particular suspect and/or case. Thanks to the training they received and who they were chasing, they are given a high levels of discretion. Meaning if they were to shoot an innocent person in the process, there is not even a federal judge powerful enough to convict them. I can remember sitting in a restaurant listening to these "war stories" and hearing them crying like little babies after they shot someone unintentionally. This usually happened after a woman and/or child was hit by a stray bullet while being used as a human shield. They were complaining how this would all be avoidable if there would be a way to educate the general public on what they do for a living and the importance of reporting everything ethically to the IRS. The fugitives did this, thinking that the feds would not shoot at them if they have a chance at taking out an innocent victim. But the Marshals and/or other federal authority figures had an assignment to complete and they got in their way. When this does happen, it is something that they referred to as "collateral damage". Despite it happening, they have to chalk it up as all part of the job. Meaning they have to suck up any bad feelings and move onto the next assignments. For they did not have the time to get caught up in the emotional sides of any one they chase. They never thought this was fair. At how they were allowed to go out and shoot someone and an average citizen on the street would get sent to prison for doing the same thing. They often commented, "why am I anymore important? What makes me any more special than the next joe? This is all avoidable, if there was only a way to educate the general public on what we do professionally." Now if they took out the fugitive, as intended, this never seemed to bother them. For they knew that this was probably doing the society a favor. Our InspirationsWhat inspired me to create this site and the services it offers was a number of different events happening. The most important was listening to those "war stories" of the US Marshals, the 9/11 incident, the many of the recent corporate scandals and my employment at the IRS in early 2000. At the IRS, my job was to take in-coming phone calls, screen them with specific questions and direct them to the appropriate trained and experienced Contact Representatives to be answered ASAP. Their goal was to inform or consult the customer or caller on how to appropriately report their gained incomes to the IRS. This was so they could tax them at the appropriate percentage or tax bracket. Most of the customers who called this 1-800 number were doing it to avoid having to pay any additional fees and penalties issued by the IRS. Usually they would do it in response to some advice they have received from attorneys, accountants or/and other business professional. During my brief employment at the IRS, I can remember over hearing my manager saying, "this operation is like throwing money out of the window. But until someone comes up with a better system, it is the best we can do". In another conversation I had with them, they suggested that I figure out a way to commercialize this service and turn it into a profitable venture. The US Marshals and company have also made me a similar challenges. This came after seeing them balling like little babies after having unintentionally shot a woman and/or child when they were being used as a shield by an at-large federal fugitive. So thanks for these incidents, this is what I want to do. I want to build this service to address these issues. If everything goes correctly, with the IRS's assistance, I will be killing about three or four birds with one stone. My goal of the Reporting-Ethics.com media system is to respond to these challenges that I was made, assist the IRS in the job of collecting taxes, making this free service into a profitable venture and to help out those federal professionals in many other ways. This would take care of a majority of the petty federal crimes and free these deputies up for those larger figured cases and/or assignments. Political News RSS:
